Does Hamshack Hotline Need To Know When I Get Rid Of An Endpoint


If you want to sell your phone / device or just give it away, we need to know.

We need to know because we need to remove the provisioning script for that particular endpoint so a new owner can not just simply re-provision it and be up and running on your extension number.

You need to start a new ticket and select General Support Inquiry.

Tell us that you are letting go of a device and supply us with the following information:

  • Your Callsign
  • Phone Model
  • MAC Address of the device
  • Extension number assigned to the device

You should also factory reset the device before getting rid of it so that the next owner can not just plug it in and start using your extension.

You will become responsible for their actions if they do use your extension number.
