Cisco SPA-112 ATA Provisioning Guide

NOTE: These instructions are for configuring a SPA-112 Analog Telephone Adaptor for use on the Hamshack Hotline.

Once you get your phone adapter, simply send us the MAC address from the bottom label and we will create an HTTP profile for it. Send a picture of the MAC address label to the HHOPS Helpdesk by opening a ticket. HHOPS helpdesk can be reached at: [[|]

Once the profile is created, you can quickly setup your phone or adaptor on HH simply by entering the following URL on your browser:


(NOTE: x.x.x.x is the local IP address of the phone on your LAN. To find your phone's LOCAL LAN IP address, simply follow these steps:

Wait 60 seconds after plugging your SPA-112 in.
Pick up the phone connected to the SPA-112 and press the * key on your phone 4 times.
Have a pen and paper ready, as you will hear a message.
Enter a menu option, then enter 1 1 0 on your phone.
You will now hear a message giving you the IP address of your SPA-112 such as -
“”. Write this number down.

This provisioning tool makes setup a snap and eliminates any chance of errors & frustration if you're not familiar with voip phone setup.

PLEASE NOTE: You must create a ticket to send your phone's MAC address to the HH Operators Team in order for the HTTP profile to be created for your phone FIRST!

Do not attempt to provision your phone until you have sent this info to the Operators Team.

Once the Operator has created your HTTP profile, we will respond to your ticket to let you know to proceed with HTTP configuration, at which point you can use the URL config method described in this document. Once your HTTP profile is created, we recommend you perform the following steps in this order:

1. Identify your SPA-112's LAN IP address
2. Copy the example URL from this document to a TEXT EDITOR, like notepad
3. Replace x.x.x.x with your SPA-112's IP Address
4. Copy the modified URL to your favorite browser's address bar
5. Wait about 60 seconds – your SPA-112 will reboot and your phone has completed provisioning & you should hear dial tone on your phone!

HHUS Users Provision Note: Please note that you can provision your phone, but the line will not become active until after 4:00am Eastern time, the next day after you receive a response from the HHOPS helpdesk.

The HHOPS helpdesk responds to helpdesk tickets via email usually within 24-48 hours. Please remember to check your spam folder if you don’t receive a response within that time frame.

You are now ready to use Hamshack Hotline!
